The 10th International IEEE EMBS Conference on Neural Engineering (NER 2021) takes place from 4 to 6 May 2021. The virtual conference is the opportunity to present and deepen recent progress in the field of neuroscience. More than 600 biomedical engineers, neuroscientists, and clinicians from around the world will discuss how research can help restore and improve impaired sensory, motor, and cognitive functions.

The Neural Engineering Community welcomes researchers, members of academia, clinicians, and representatives of patient associations, industry, government agencies, funders, and other interested parties to attend the premier conference for this highly interdisciplinary field. NER is the world’s gathering place for biomedical engineers, neuroscientists, and clinicians to share research and to exchange ideas and breakthrough advances in novel engineering tools for elucidating brain function and neuro technologies for the restoration and enhancement of impaired sensory, motor, and cognitive functions.

THE BIOROBOTICS INSTITUTE

The BioRobotics Institute is one of the main organizers of the conference thanks to the role of Silvestro Micera, Conference Chair of NER'21. Calogero Oddo (Finance Chair) and Alberto Mazzoni (Publicity & Media Chairs) also worked on the organization of the conference.
The BioRobotics Institute also participates in the rich program of the event with about twenty presentations by professors, researchers, research fellows and PhD students on neuroengineering issues.
